History

Ambassador Personnel, Inc. is a privately-held human resource consulting firm, which consists of several lines of business including Staffing, Logistics, Payroll Administration, Outsourcing, Executive Search, and Safety Training and Consulting. The company began in 1997 in Thomasville, Georgia with one office and has seen explosive growth through strategic acquisitions and internal branch startups.

Prior to purchasing the company in May of 2011, our CEO Douglas Wilson has served as President and CEO of Ambassador since 1997.

In 2009, in an effort to expand our diversity in the Food Processing industry, Ambassador formed a subsidiary company, Ambassador Services, LLC. In partnership with several key employees, Ambassador Services purchased ServiceMaster Building Maintenance bakery division. Over the past six years, Ambassador Services has grown into a contract service business serving the entire southeast.

In 2009, Ambassador Services was one of the first contract service businesses to achieve BRC Certification with an "A" in every facility that was audited. The BRC Certification is bestowed only onto the Food Processing facilities that have strong programs and procedures in place in the food industry. We have maintained an "A" in every facility since then. We also set the record for the highest Long Inspection Audit (formerly QBA) with a 882 in one of our facilities. This score is based off a 900 possible score.
